This project rejects the idea of film as a method of preserving a moment in time by destroying it with fire. As time is ephemeral by nature, the idea of using photography to seize moments of time is absurd as it is a fluid dimension, constantly changing beyond our control. By destroying the medium which supposedly makes time tangible, we deny ourselves the power of capturing time itself with manmade tools.
